Filter respirator for the protection of the face and the breathing pathways from splinters, fumes, dusts, etc., CE-approved to EN 140. It can be used in dusty environments such as foundries, quarries or during drilling, grinding, polishing or light sandblasting. Light and very strong, it protects the wearer's head down to the shoulders. This respirator is made of:
-Half facepiece, made of moulded rubber, provided with EN 148/1 connector. -Exhalation valve, made of a rubber membrane fitted to a solvent and acid proof plastic seat, protected by a PVC cap. -Head harness, elastic and adjustable by means of selfadjusting buckles. -Hood, front made of flower leather and back of strong waterproof fabric. It is fitted with a frame that holds a polycarbonate safety visor (100 x 140 mm) and a counter frame that holds replaceable plain glass visor.
This respirator must always be used in conjunction with P3 filters (EN 143) for the protection from dusts and fumes.
